This week my #FollowFriday person you should know is Jim Canterucci. executive advisor, author, professional speaker, and CEO & founder of Transition Mangement Advisors. Jim has more than 20 years experience managing large change projects and bringing innovation to Fortune 500 companies. Increasingly for the past 10 years, he has been teaching others these necessary skills. Jim is also the author of Personal Brilliance. Jim works with business leaders to implement change and develop personal brilliance within the organization, the leadership team and themselves. Jim also had a hand in developing ELCircle , a very cool on-line site that provides cutting edge content to executives through the use of video from premire executive advisors. Jim is also an accomplished speaker on developing Personal Brilliance.
I first met Jim through twitter. I was following Jim because he posted good content and was a professional business speaker and author. After a while I realized he lived in the Columbus area. I contacted him to see if he might be a fit to speak at the Ohio Growth Summit. He was more than a fit, he was a great fit. Jim really tried to help me make the event valuable for the audience. He customized his presentaition to speak to the audience of small business owners and he really hit home with the presentation.
Not only did he deliver a great presentation he was very engaging at the book signing and with the attendees throughout the Summit.
Jim has helped me in many ways over the time we have known each other. He has spoken at the Ohio Growth Summit, helped me through his words in both his book and his presentation but also he has helped me as a great example as to how to handle yourself as a leader and a person.
Given all that that this is my #FollowFriday for September 17, 2010. Be sure to check out Jim at My Personal Brilliance, ELCircle and on Twitter at @Canterucci.
We loved working with Mike and his team on the Ohio Growth Summit. Very organized and a great person to work with. Say "yes" if you have the opportunity.
