Our Human Resource department recently implemented a new performance evaluation system based on 360 feedback and S.M.A.R.T. goals. Now ordinarily anything associated with human resources I discount as totally useless but when it comes to S.M.A.R.T. goals I have to change my opinion. Setting S.M.A.R.T. goals is very strategic and provides a good way to set direction, execute and evaluate results. I like this video from Chris Brogan's "Overnight Success" series...Good Stuff!!!
